“Les Prises de la Bastille” is unique in the world of via ferratas, as it is an urban route that begins right at the entrance to Grenoble.
It climbs the slopes of Mont Rachais to reach the Bastille fortifications overlooking the city, offering stunning views over the “Capital of the Alps” and the surrounding massifs.
The first section follows a beginner-friendly itinerary, playful and fun, featuring an impressive monkey bridge and a suspended footbridge.
The second section, with its three different possible exits, allows the level of difficulty to be adapted to the abilities and motivation of the group.
