Caving at the Cuves de Sassenage

This cave is located on the mountainside, at the northern entrance to the Vercors, right in the heart of the village of Sassenage. The Furon River flows through the cave.
It starts with an equipped section through boulder passages, followed by the main river passage. This then leads towards the sump, using fixed aids along the way such as monkey bridges, a zip line, handlines…
This course can be enjoyed by the whole family or with friends, as a half-day or full-day activity. Adaptable to different physical abilities, it offers an excellent introduction to caving.
The cave system totals 9,745 metres in length.
