Col de Rousset Via Ferrata

Difficulty: D (difficult)/TD (very difficult)

Starting altitude: 1,195 m Final altitude: 1,415 m Elevation gain: 220 m Length: 500 m

Located south of the Vercors Regional Natural Park, on the border between the Isère and Drôme départements, the Col du Rousset via ferrata is an outdoor itinerary that lovers of calm and quiet will truly appreciate. Despite its peaceful setting, the via ferrata is very athletic and exposed, offering a fantastic atmosphere with several overhanging sections in the second half! One particularly surprising section leads between the cliff and an impressive limestone monolith known as La Chandelle.

All of this takes place in a stunning natural environment!

Good to know: over a full day, it is possible to combine the via ferrata in the morning with an introductory climbing course in the afternoon on the Col du Rousset or Cime du Mas crags.
